I take 1200 mg daily of R-ALA (600 mg morning and evening). There is a "ramp up" process for R-ALA on The Protocol website under the FAQ section that you might find helpful if the R-ALA is causing stomach issues. Here's a link to the FAQ section, then just look for the What is Ramp UP? topic - https://theprotocolworks.com/faq/.

It's also key to drink plenty of water during the ramp up process.

Thanks for the info. I need to get a new Dr. Trying to decide between podiatrist or neurologist or both. Activity seems to help numbness. Walking more when I can, maybe pursue P.T. also.
