It’s a common problem with ALA. Some have found starting with 100mg and gradually adding more until reaching the 600 to 1200mg allowed them to get used to ALA. I’ve heard it also helps to take it with a bite of food like a piece of a banana.

Capsules are 300 mg. To take smaller dose. I'm assuming break open capsule, and weigh? Taking it in a powder forms sounds worse?, but would be a smaller amount.
I also take a med for a stomach issue. I'm sure may also affect digestive juices??
