Maybe you could try a CBD ointment/salve in the area. It worked for me, but some people get no relief with it. You need a high concentration, not anything under 1000 mg. It's expensive, and only lasts about an hour or so.
Much better than the lidocaine patches.

When my body goes into a flare (lasts 6-8 days) I depend on edibles. I live in a state where it is legal as long as you medically cleared to have a Medical Cannibis Card from the state. I will look into an ointment. Thank you!
