I had a fracture at c2 and t2 had to be in a neck brace for six weeks. I had two titanium rods and seven screws to hold my spine together, I am now two and one half years later and still no issues.

Thank you for the response randymor. May I ask was your done from the front or back? Did they fuse your C2 to C1 or C3 or both? Did you lose any range of motion? Any headaches? Did Dr. scare you by talking about hitting arteries or causing paralysis or I wonder if all Neurosurgeon have to say that with this type of surgery. I'm terrified for him to have this surgery at this point. However, doing nothing is not an option because it's unstable. Thanks again for responding. Hugs
