I plan to try ALA also. I was wondering for those who have had improvement of systems with ALA. Are you using type R, or synthetic?

Looks like ALA is a nogo for me. Took 1 300 mg capsule 2 hrs after lunch. Upset stomach, excessive salivation ? Reflux? I don't how anyone can take 600 to 1200 mg daily. A tougher stomach than me.
