I don't know if this is related, but I discovered the hard way that some cheeses give me migraines.

I thought it was just my imagination, but then I read this:

"Migraine sufferers should stick to fresh cheeses, like mild cheddar, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, American cheese, Colby and Monterey Jack. Aged cheeses, like Parmesan, Asiago, Mozzarella and sharp cheddar contain tyramine, an amino acid that can trigger headaches."

Again, it may not be related to your situation, but might be worth checking out. Other foods contain tyramine; maybe you're sensitive to those, too.

Good luck! Hopefully, you'll get an answer. I love dairy and can't imagine life without cheese.

I will definitely look into that! I love cheese too, parmesan cheese is absolutely my favorite, and not being able to eat it is so sad.
