Stopping Evenity Early

I have been having memory loss which scares me very much. I read that Evenity can cause memory loss. Has anyone experienced memory loss after taking Evenity?

Are Evenity side effects reversible after stopping ?

Oh my gosh @pt109 I have not been sure if COVID or Evenity was causing my memory issues. I am also having lots of weird dreams. I am having a second dose in two days. How may injections have you had?

Where did you read that about memory loss? Can you share? I don't see it here (I do see confusion and mood or mental changes.)

Funny, someone just told me it could be Covid Brain which I hadn’t heard of but apparently can last up to 9 months! I had Covid about 3 weeks ago but I think the memory issues might have started before then. But I’m not sure. I’ve had 8 months of 2 injections each time with 4 months to go. But I just sent a message to my Dr about the memory issues and that I’d like to stop now and not in 4 more months. I’m waiting to hear back
I read it on one site when looking up memory loss and Evenity, it recommended that you contact the Dr ASSP if you have memory loss amongst over things. But that was the only site that mentioned it

You can stop anytime. The strongest bone building happens in the first months. I asked my doc about that today. I might just do it two or three times. The later months on Evenity are more anti-resorptive so we can go on Reclast for a similar effect. Doc agreed with this.

The fact that we both had COVID recently makes this a little murkier!

Thanks for that info I didn’t know that. My Dr said after the Evenity injections I would get a yearly injection of Reclast. If he tries to persuade me to stay on Evenity, you’ve given ammunition’s to counter that!

Did you have memory issues during Evenity treatment but before COVID? I am also having a lot of weird dreams.

For ammunition watch Dr. Ben Leder's video on You Tube about "Combinations and Sequencing." In the section on Evenity (rososozumab) there is a chart showing the huge rise in P1NP (bone growth) in the first WEEKS! Then the line goes down and anti-resorption goes up.

I talked with a doc today about doing 2 or 3 sets of injections. She said I was a trailblazer with the path I have been doing, which is, um, unusual in her practice though probably not everywhere.

I almost never dream but I did have a couple which is unusual but I don’t remember them.

That’s the problem I’m not sure. I would forget stuff like what I went to get in another room, but I think that’s normal. And Also I’ve been sleep deprived since I have sleep apnea but haven’t been using my CPAP machine which I’ve vowed to start using. That also affects concentration. Sorry
