Platelet-rich Plasma or Intermittent pneumatic compression therapy

In the last 35 or so years I haven't used any of the so-called Neuropathy treatments/cures. There is so much fraud.
I was wondering if anyone has used either of these treatments, and if they had any beneficialeffect. I’m just curious since I only have numbness now and I can live with that.
Thanks,
Jake

I have had 3 sets of PRP injections in my feet . My pain is less than half of what it was . My feet are no longer cold . I have more feeling and better color . I have also had a PRP injection in my right shoulder . The pain has gotten so much better . PRP works . Does it work for all people ? Who knows ?

I am so glad that the PRP has worked for you. I am hoping for the same results.
It makes sense that it would be best for your own body to repair itself.
There is a book" Designed to Heal" by Dr. Bryan Riecker I am in the process of reading but haven't finished yet.

I was diagnosed last year with Peripherial Neuropathy from Oxaliplatin Chemotherapy that I was given 10 years ago. I was also diagnosed with MS a year after the cancer diagnosis but I feel the neuropathy is from the Chemo.
I just don't know how to "fix" it and it seems to be getting worse.

Hi @angielewis1959, Sorry to hear your neuropathy from chemo treatments has been getting worse. Have you seen this discussion? I'm wondering if you might get some helpful suggestions from others with the condition.

I tried both and nothing came of them. I also tried stem cells several years before and basically donated $10,000 to a good con artist doctor who is still in business. Yes, there are fakes all around us. Treatments, meds, creams, light therapy.....I could keep going. I will soon start acupuncture. What the heck!!!

I go to my family doctor for my injections of PRP. I'm not sure, but I think that holistic doctors
would provide the injections. Also, I was reading that WebMD offers a directory of PRP doctors for your region.
