Hello @saraabrooks, I see that you recently joined Connect and would like to welcome you. I'm not sure how many people are following this discussion since it's from 2017 and the member who started the discussion has not posted any follow up. I also have been labeled pre-diabetic for most of my adult life but made some lifestyle changes the past few years to try and improve my health. I don't have the neuropathy pain but just the numbness.

Your comments from January 30th were enlightening. I just now found your email reply. There was certainly a flurry of activities for a while. I have not had any neuropathy for the last week. I have turned to swimming. Minimum of 20 minutes three times a week. I have not had any problems with my ankles and feet since then and I actually went to bed the other night without socks. That, my dear, is Monumental to me. Going to bed without socks. My feet would go numb and tingle and then I would have cramps. Movement has helped me tremendously. I'm not new to it but I've had a real bad 6 months and I left a lot of exercising behind. But I am back! And I feel great and I know it's because I am swimming.
