Has anyone had any success with Botox injections in the feet for peripheral neuropathy?

Hello @jimdandy1 - I haven't heard much discussion on botox injections for treating neuropathy but there is some positive research on the treatment for pain but I don't think it would help with my neuropathy numbness. Here's a 2022 paper on the topic:

--- Use of Botulinum Toxin in the Treatment of Neuropathic Pain: A Case Series (P10-13.009)

Have you done any research on the botox injections? How did you learn about the treatment?

Yes I have done a lot of research and was working with a neurologist but insurance will not help with payments because it is not approved by F.D.A and another medical association but I can’t recall the exact name. I called the fda to see what it takes to have this approved and thought maybe there was something that I could do to help with getting it approved but it is way over my head. So I am looking to see if anyone has had this done or know where there is a study that my wife could be a part of.
