Anyone else have these kind of digestion issues?

I have some issues as well. My colonoscopy isn’t until April and I’m rather anxious about it. I hope they (Duke) will move it up after my office visit this week. I expect a local exam and ……idk what else they can do. Scans? Blood tests? I’m very nervous about it.

Have you had a colonoscopy before?

yes i have. quite a few of them. more so since i found out about having Crohns. and now that i'm 65 at least every few years. there is really nothing to fear or worry about them. most gastroenterologists put you to sleep. so you don't feel what's going on. make sure whomever the doctor is informs you of this. also there are scans and blood tests. all depending on what they are looking for or find. just relax and you will be fine. good luck. d

Yes, I have had a colonoscopy before. It's o.k. they knock you out, and it feels like 2 seconds went by when I woke up. Make sure someone drives you home. Someone else here suggested an endoscopy or barium x-ray. I might see about that. Insurance-wise it might be better for me since mine would be considered a diagnostic colonoscopy.

I’ve had 3 and need to have another soon w/ another endoscopy too ( same time ).
The colonoscopy prep is the worst part of the whole thing .
The procedure is easy , you aren’t awake . Don’t worry about that part . I have 10 years chronic digestive disorders daily . On my 6 th Gastro Dr. in 2 states .
Tried it ALL .. I mean everything.
Still the 7 diagnoses no one can help me with ;( .
It’s life changing . Just doing my best . Def get the testing done though . Best wishes
