I've just finished a 15 day treatment of the Proton Beam Therapy and can assure you it was an easy process. I've had very few side effects. The usual tiredness but no decrease in apatite until the last couple of days when my esophagus felt like the food was stuck. I was given a special liquid that numbed my mouth and esophagus. I'm only eating soft foods like soups and yogurt. That's all feeling better every day. In two weeks I'll resume the immunotherapy and Avastan every three weeks. My tumor is SHRINKING!!
