My endocrinologist listened to me and we skipped a month to see if my symptoms went away. She agreed with stopping Evenity after 8th month.
I got a Reclast infusion about 14 months ago. My knee swelled up dramatically where I couldn’t put weight on it for a week. I think it triggered arthritis in my hip and thumbs. But who knows.
I go back next month for a dexascan so I’m curious where I stand.

She’s suggested Tymlos as an option- but I’m inclined to take a break.

I was concerned about Reclast as it is a yearly injection and frankly I was worn out by Evenity and how it changed my quality of life. I’m 67 and hope to be active for a long time! I didn’t take a break as I didn’t want to lose gains but don’t know how fast that can happen. My 92 year old mom just fell and has three compression fractures. She’s had osteoporosis since her late 40s and has refused all meds and even scans! I didn’t want meds and tried all the natural options but numbers kept getting worse. Hopefully Actonel will help me keep the gains! Best to you!

Does your doctor monitor CTX before, during and after Reclast?

Did your doctor suggest tymlos as a option after evenity or reclast?

Thanks
