What helps with snoring? Is it raising the head of bed? I probably snore b/c I wake up mornings with extreme dry mouth. But I do wonder if sleeping with HOB elevated has any long term adverse side effects, such as on the heart or cardiovascular system? I know it is a position used in hospitals for easing pressure on the heart. But on a healthy heart is this reduction a good thing long term? Possibly it’s ok, but I would greatly appreciate an answer if anyone knows of medical evidence one way or the other.

I don’t elevate it beyond about 20-30 degrees. Never had any issues

Thanks for mentioning that I have had mine elevated since I had my back surgery in April. That’s going to be a great question to ask my heart doctor.
