I've only had 3 Evenity injections but so far this has been a side effect free medication, for me. Other than a tiny bit of puffiness at the inject sites once and once an injection left a slight bruise, there has been nothing. No aches, no pains, nothing. I'm not discounting others bad experiences, just wanting to say that it works without problem for some. I want to add that I've been extremely food and chemically sensitive for 40 plus years and I'm quite surprised at what smooth sailing it's been. Fingers crossed.
Also, I researched for months and months before taking the plunge. From looking at studies, listening to doctors talks, and following different osteoporosis groups, consulting with Lani Simpson, IMO, Evenity is the most effective osteoporosis med and it probably has the least side effects. Or perhaps I should say few side effects for many people. To me it was the obvious drug of choice. Anabolics before anti-resorptives for many reasons, Evenity over Forteo or Tymlos because Evenity builds more bone and helps the hip and forearm way more than Forteo and Tymlos. After going over everything I could think of it seemed pretty simple to me. One gamble is the newness of Evenity. I chose to live with that.
