Thank You for the information. He has been diagnosed with EOE since early May of this year. No he is not a patient at the Mayo Clinic.  We first heard of the clinic thru a friend of my mom and wife from work. We then starting hearing from the clinic from a lot of other people. Even one of my son's friend recommended the clinic to him. My wife tried to reach out to them once over the phone but she got transferred to someone else who never picked up the line. We haven't tried again because on top of everything my son has been going thru himself we recently found out that a good friend and team mate of his passed away. His friend was also a member the track team. He is taking that loss very hard as well. The endoscopy they did just recently showed that his inflammation has gone down but he is still not able to hold his food down and has sever stomach pain. We feel very Helpless and Lost as parents.

@familiaramirez, have the doctors rules out other related disorders such as GERD, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease?
