Cornea Confocal Microscopy (CCM) and Neuropathy

Cornea Confocal Microscopy is a newer way of diagnosing Small Fiber Neuropathy. It is an expensive microscope and as I understand, found primarily in large medical hospitals and universities. CCM is able to analyze the small fibers through your cornea (which contains the most fibers in your body) and not only determine a SFN diagnosis but also a more in depth assessment of disease progression or possible regeneration of nerves.
