Registration is NOW OPEN for the first-ever SADS Virtual International Conference!

Over 300 SADS families from throughout the world have already registered for the 2020 SADS Foundation International Conference! Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear from experts and to meet your fellow SADS families. The event is entirely virtual and FREE! All you need to participate in the conference is a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone. From the Whova website or Whova virtual app, you can easily join sessions, ask questions, connect with other attendees, visit the exhibit hall, and more. Click here to view the Whova Attendee User Guide.

During the morning, you will hear from world-leading SADS experts Drs. Michael Ackerman, Susan Etheridge, and Prince Kannankeril about the latest in long QT syndrome (LQTS), Brugada syndrome (BrS), catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT), arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), as well as other channelopathies.

Come afternoon, meet your community in disorder-specific breakout rooms via Zoom, led by a health care professional. Share your story and listen to the stories of other families as you learn about your SADS condition.

The day will end with a chance for everyone to celebrate together as we enjoy fun, laughter, and entertainment at the SADS Zoom Pajama Party!

You can view the entire agenda on the SADS Foundation's website.

The SADS Foundation staff members are busy gearing up for this event too! In between physicians' talks about research updates and the latest therapies for SADS conditions, SADS Foundation staff members will be hosting some fun and interactive activities!

Getting excited? Eager to participate? Don't worry, because there's one activity that you can participate in RIGHT NOW! The SADS Foundation staff members are working on creating a video of individuals and families from across the world to share during the conference and they need your help. Check out the activity below to learn how to participate!

Introduction Activity!

All you need to do to participate in this activity is create a short video (less than a minute) with your mobile device showcasing you and/or your family. In the video, please include these 3 brief statements:

1. Introductory statement: We are the xxx family (or first and/or last name) coming to SADS from xxx (city, state).
2. Personal statement: Something representing your location (clothing, background, interesting fact, etc.)
3. Closing statement: We are PROUD to be part of the SADS community for xxx years!

When finished, please upload the video on the Whova App's Community Board "Intro Videos" or email
