Opioid Take Back Event

Greater than 1,000 pounds of prescription medications were collected on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Rochester Minnesota during the bi-annual Opioid Take Back event. In conjunction with the Olmsted County Sheriff's department and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), Mayo Clinic volunteers collected medications from 10 am until 2 pm allowing individuals to have a safe please to dispose of unused medications.

We are making a concerted effort to make our cities and homes a safer place while providing proper disposal of unused medications.
