I’m sorry, you have GCA? ... I thought we were talking about PMR. ... I really don’t know much about GCA other

I have some knowledge on PMR as sufferer ... chest xrays prior to and since my PMR ... PET scan as part of my diagnosis of PMR ... And its not good to assume its PMR. ... Provided you dont have GCA and something

Methotrexate for RA ---- Prednisone for PMR ... with Reactive arthritis, uveitis, and PMR ... Humira didn't work for PMR but ... and later for other conditions and GCA ... approved for RA and recently approved for PMR

also have another conversation on GCA ... I have polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) ... understand it frequently is associated with GCA

prednisone almost 4 years ago when my GCA ... and PMR was positively diagnosed.I

@lindapc - I have had GCA and tapered ... Prednisone but more from just having the GCA ... I have never had PMR. ... blood test done every 3 months for the GCA

I have both GCA and PMR.

Hopefully your PMR will continue to ... I don't have GCA with my PMR but ... my first episode of PMR lasted about ... lifestyle changes to help treat the GCA ... changes they have had to make to treat GCA

Hi @charlena, my PMR symptoms are mostly ... no where near what it is when the PMR ... range so he didn't think I had GCA ... the other symptoms associated with GCA ... My rheumatologist described PMR to me

I don't know what GCA is. ... your doctor has diagnosed you with PMR ... really sure what you have going on and PMR

I lost sight in one eye from GCA in ... was not officially diagnosed with PMR
