The prednisone has righted more than it has wronged for me, but many days it was...
weight, it fiddled with my thyroid levels ... abdominal tumors causing abdominal pain ... required aspiration to relieve the pain ... Trust me not all systemic pains should ... be attributed to PMR.
I think and particularly my case the sooner you can get off prednisone the easier it...

was an "off switch" as far a PMR ... That was when a cortisol level was checked ... endocrinologist verified a low cortisol level ... Staying on 3 mg was tough but the pain ... Actemra seemed to be working for the pain

I had a hip replacement 4 years ago but I had bone on bone. It's great...
I have had PMR for a year and have experienced ... hip,neck and shoulder pain relapses ... The hip pain is at the level I had before ... increase my Prednisone from my current level ... slowly for a couple of months and the pain

I certainly understand your concern with the osteoporosis but remember that once a person gets down...
prednisone was enough to keep the PMR ... fine with it because now I was at the level ... only effect from 3 mg was with the PMR ... If you can be at a low level of prednisone ... matters to me most is keeping the pain
