Hello @barbararene - you are right, PMR ... I think it's not uncommon for PMR to ... start in hands, arms, & shoulders and ... neuropathy which normally starts in the hands ... the numbness/tingling and not any pain

diagnosis earlier this year came when my PMR ... and I was have the same issue with pain ... felt good they didn't help with the pain ... back on 20mg of prednisone for the PMR ... I still had the pain in the wrists
