I was diagnosed with pmr in December. 40mg of pred helped alleviate most of the symptoms....
And the prednisone. ... also concerned about long term use of prednisone ... same time continuing to take 30mg of prednisone ... The side effects of MTX for me are dizziness ... put up with that if it gets me off prednisone

I do have some dizziness also but probably ... from side effects of other drugs. ... have hot flashes but that is tied to prednisone
