Welcome @7lori77, I think I would talk with my doctor or rheumatogist. I think normally prednisone...
will provide relief for all of the PMR ... unless there is another issue causing pain ... in the hands. ... Did it also lessen the pain in your ... hands?

fiber peripheral neuropathy along with PMR ... had many nights in the past where my hand ... and arm go to sleep and I wake up in pain ... nerve related than anything to do with PMR ... since my PMR is currently in remission

insisting that I could fight through the pain ... Until the pain was so bad it couldn& ... doing all the research I can get my hands ... I was already coming out of PMR but
