Prednisone and 'stuck' also tried Methotrexate ... Plaquinil might be giving me cardiac side ... effects...feels like a no win situation ... inflammation or roll the dice on the horrid side ... effects of medication.

Maybe consider asking about getting on Methotrexate ... But consider the side effects of being ... of sufficient Prednisone, there are side ... effects that are not desirable like ... it affects your bones, etc.

Recently read that pseudogout/cppd can affect ... I have passed on methotrexate. ... Tapering seems to affect hands or now ... leaves you vulnerable to an undesirable side ... effect - at least in my case.
