my 25 years of being treated with prednisone ... Maybe all the prednisone prevented GCA ... told the surgeon that I only used Prednisone ... which was treated with 60-100 mg of prednisone

I was started on 20 mg prednisone also ... floundered some tapering down with prednisone ... of 1 to 10 along with my dosage of prednisone ... took 3 and half years to taper off of prednisone
