Side effects of Actemera nil except ... I was in remission by the first month ... treatment , and so far remained in remission ... me well again, put and kept me in remission ... large cumulative doses of damaging prednisone

I agree with Jeff97. I doubt whether your taking enough of the steroid. 2 months is...
is not a very long time to go into remission ... If you are taking Actemra that can take ... Actemra does not work for everyone. ... You need to google "prednisone and ... . 2mg of Dex is equivalent to 10mg prednisone

Sounds like GCA and am glad they have started treatment. Classic symptoms. Have had GCA, not...
On Prendnison January to August, then ... started on Actemra IV once a month. ... I expect to be on Actemra for another ... her how will she know when I am in remission ... Actemra can cause cancer.

I was treated with a fast taper of prednisone ... And then I went into remission for 20 ... now and my doctor wants me to take Actemra ... so hopefully I can get off the prednisone
