Joan it’s so nice to hear from you! Happy to hear you are keeping on top of everything. It’s a difficult decision when you have multifocal lung cancer. I’m still waiting for the Mayo to schedule me back, however the area they’re watching on me seems to be enlarging scar tissue. I think as we age sometimes we become more tired. I find I’m more tired when I’m bored. When I have things to do I can be like the energizer bunny. When are you scheduled for your radiation? Prayers all goes well for you. Please continue to keep us updated on your journey. Hugs to all.

@merpreb I’m feeling fine! I know it’s frustrating that they never seem to stop. But I’m happy that they’re able to treat them. So many others never had that option

@meka I’m so happy you were able to get your SBRT started today. Isn’t it amazing how fast and easy it is. That’s where I had my SBRT was at Charlton. Best wishes to you. I’m feeling happy to have made it up before they ramp down. Keep in touch!

@merpreb I just got back to our hotel. The area we’ve been watching is still growing even though the past uptakes on PET in September and December were very low. I’m scheduled for another PET in the morning. I’ve never seen the Mayo so empty. I’m glad I came up. 🤞we can get this area resolved this trip. I am also hoping @meka is doing well.

@meka thinking of you this morning. Stay positive and know we are sending you warm wishes. SBRT is really a breeze compared to surgery.

My recovery was great! Little tired but not too bad. Most annoying side effect was thigtness above my chest. Felt like there was a steel plate in there sometimes. Not always. It lasted about 4 months.
