I had one melanoma on my right temple many years ago and the dermatologist was more interested in doing a biopsy than I was since I had not had a biopsy before. I am Glad I said do it. He called in a couple of days and said find a surgeon quickly. I did. The surgeon got it all and it never came back.
Anyone having spots that change shape or color should take care of it as soon as possible.
Thanks for listening.

Same here. Mine was on my forearm (played and watched many softball games).

Glad they got it taken care of in time. Back in the 80s my Mother had it and the doctors and the hospital in the Verde Valley misdiagnosed it and by the time we found a doctor that knew what it was and had the tools to treat it, it was too late and we lost her not long later.

I had small pink bump about the size of a small pimple on my leg shin. Since my legs have had scrapes on the shin didn' think it was much. Had it tested it was melanoma 3.3mm deep

Just got diagnosed with my second melanoma in situ. Last one was 13 years ago. Having surgery soon. It was on my back so would have never seen it! Was found on my yearly spot check!

Hi. I also just found my second melanoma in situ. First was upper back 20 years ago. This one is mid sole on my foot.
First I blame of sun but I don’t know what to think with this - where it is located. Will I need a flap on the bottom of my foot??
I go to surgeon consult tomorrow so will find out soon enough I guess.

Mine were where the sun don't shine!!
