Pianist/vocalist Andrew Walesch performs as a solo artist and with big bands all over the Midwest. He is known for his renditions of songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, and Irving Berlin. Recently, Walesch has focused on songwriting and is working on a project of original compositions. He has sung and played on the stage of The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tenn., The Chicago Theater and the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis, and has appeared on the nationally syndicated broadcast “Mountain Stage” on National Public Radio. In May 2010, he graduated with a music degree from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minn.
