Registration is open for next Family First series June 22 – July 13.
Meetings are held virtually once a week for five weeks on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 pm Eastern time.
You and Your Family Are Not Alone.
Mayo Clinic uses CLIMB curriculum and the arts to help patients with cancer, their partners or spouses, and their children.
The cancer care journey affects patients, their spouses and partners and their children. Family First helps adult cancer patients and their loved ones through this journey. Families attend each session together, but the program uses peer-to-peer discussions (i.e., one discussion group for children and another group for adults) and art activities to foster communication and reduce feelings of isolation that are common among families that are dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
There is no fee to attend!
