Description
A program at Mayo Clinic that uses creative expression and a guided curriculum to help patients with cancer, their partners or spouses, and their children.
Monthly sessions of Family First are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. ET.
Sessions are held in person at Mayo Clinic in the Mangurian Building. A complimentary, family-style dinner will be served at the beginning of each session.
Registration is open for all 2023 sessions.
You and Your Family Are Not Alone.
The benefits of Family First include:
- Children and adults meet others who are experiencing the same concerns and stresses.
- It uses a research-based program that fosters self-expression and communication.
- Mayo Clinic social workers and other staff with extensive experience lead the program.
