Caring for the Caregiver Support Group meets weekly on Thursdays from 12-1 p.m. MT (Find your time zone.)

This is a group specifically for those who care for a loved one- regardless of their medical issue. This group was formed as a way to connect, share and receive support from others navigating the often overwhelming journey as caregiver.

All caregivers welcome. The group is for caregivers, so we respectfully ask that patients not attend. Currently the group meets virtually via Zoom.

Had a minor stroke in 2021. No bad side effects but mild aphasia--words searching at times. My problem was even before the stroke.
I have had continuous upper only head pressure, like it needs to 'be opened to let the pressure out'! No pain, but heavy head pressure. See a Neuro doctor and has had meds, wearing pressure garments and finally had a MRI in July of head and now Neuro doctor has advised a Neuro/head doctor!! I have an appt. in October.
Pressure is so quality of life bothersome--reclining eases it but soon as up and about the pressure gets from mild to bad! Makes going anywhere or enjoying life is not so good! Stress is alot this past year--losing my 2nd oldest daughter one week before my husband was put on hospice and passed away too! Dealing with this has been 'awful' to say the least. I only take 1/2 a xanax on occasion for stress--but nothing is helping my head and seems to be worse. An MRI only has the word encephhalamalacia on the report. Neuro says 'not of concern'. Am reading it 'is of concern'. What is true? Thanks
Sue
