This group is such a blessing! Wish I knew about it when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer 3 1/2 years ago instead of just a year ago. Lisa and Sharon do a great job of leading the group. I always learn something new. We all have our own journey but we do not have to be on the journey alone. So good to connect with others with similar stories. Indeed is a boost to my mood every week. I have connected with many ladies across the country and it seems like a whole new group of friends. If you have experienced breast cancer, whether just recently or as a thriver, I encourage you to zoom in on Monday nights.

I might do that, hope I don't forget.
I had breast cancer in July 2021 and left breast mastectomy reconstruction surgery on December 31, 2021.
From start to finish, not a good plastic surgeon.
I still suffer from a bad reconstruction; I went for a second opinion to see if they could correct the damage.
And yes, they felt that they could but because of my age, he discouraged me from correcting the damage.
I did not go forward with the repair, I lost confidence in a positive outcome regardless of my age.
I now have nodules in my lungs, had a biopsy this week waiting for the results next week.
