When I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 41 and had to undergo a double mastectomy etc., I tried desperately to find a group to help me navigate the rollercoaster of being diagnosed with the C word and being told that I could not have children now because of my diagnosis. Sadly. For me, I could not find any support as nearly ALL of women diagnosed were 1) older 2) had children 3) didn’t know what I was going through etc
Now that breast cancer is affecting many more younger women without children, I would like to see a specific support and advice group for these specific ladies. To help them find a path that leads them to having a family of their own. In my experience, these ladies are overlooked, as I was.
Thank you.
