After the Diagnosis

Attendees can visit with staff and community organizations at their booths:

This opening session will discuss the different types of dementia, such as Alzheimer's Disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and vascular dementia, as well as what causes each one.

After the Diagnosis Pt. 1 will focus on holistic management of dementia and how to partner with your medical team.

After the Diagnosis Pt. 2 will focus on addressing stigma and making practical day-to-day accommodations that empower the person with dementia

This is a time to ask the speakers any questions you had from their presentations or questions about topics they might not have answered.

This will be a time of facilitated discussions with attendees broken out into five groups to create peer-to-peer connection
