17th Annual Stay Out of the Sun Run

Returning for its 17th year, the Stay Out of the Sun Run is Rochester's ONLY Friday evening race!

All proceeds will benefit melanoma research, education, and awareness through the Stay Out of the Sun Foundation and in partnership with the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.

The Stay Out of the Sun event offers 5K, 10K, and 2 Mile distances on local trails surrounding Cascade Meadow and Cascade Lake.

This year we will be gathering at beautiful Cascade Meadows where we once again are offering skin checks and a variety of family-friendly entertainment. Instead of a silent auction, you'll have the opportunity to browse our selection of swag and purchase it right then and there! We'll have a variety of swag to choose from, including previous year's swag (such as hats & socks), along with new items that will be limited runs. 100% of the proceeds from the swag shop will go directly to the cause.

Packet pick-up will take place at TerraLoco:

Wednesday, May 18th 10 am-3pm

Thursday, May 19, 3 pm-7 pm.

Same-day packet pick-up and registration will also be available on race day 4 pm-6 pm.

Note* Packet pick-up will not be available outside of these hours due to packet pick-up being coordinated by volunteers. Store staff cannot assist with packet pick-up outside of packet pick-up hours.

Won't be in town for the event and doing it 'virtually?' - Email events@runterraloco.com to coordinate an alternate pick-up time or send a friend/family to pick up your packet for you!
