Description
The Prostate Cancer Support Group is an in-person group for Mayo Clinic patients and their caregivers. The group meets monthly, from noon to 1:30 pm CT.
Each month guest speakers from the Mayo Clinic oncology team provide education on specific topics related to prostate cancer. Following the presentation and Q & A time, members share information and experiences.
In-person space is limited, but all are welcome to participate via Zoom.
The Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet at noon on Wednesday January 11 in Baldwin 1-507.
Dr. Jarrett Richardson, Consultant and Professor of Psychiatry, will discuss “Depression in Prostate Cancer Patients.”

When will the next meeting occur?
Hi...I'm new not sure how it works?
Yes, when will you have the next meeting? I'm looking for advice regarding the choice between surgery & radiation treatment. I'm trying to ensure I consider all the factors in weighing the pro's & con's of each option. Thanks!
I at 80 had radiation treatment in Australia. I am now down to a PSA of 0.15 and seem to have no side effects. I was advised against surgery based on my age.
