Hi @annia, we cannot provide treatment recommendations on Connect. If you want to seek medical advice or a consultation from a Mayo Clinic physician contact Mayo Clinic International at Intl.mcj@mayo.edu.
Hi @annia , not looking for medical treatment iam simply a Biochem/Cellbio student in San Diego CA, that has followd Dr.Qs journey and interest in reaserch. I too like him iam looking to use my skill set to hopefully in the near future have an opportunity to work along side Dr.Q to find a cure for brain cancer . Thank you We are looking forward to listening to what both Doctors have to say on Brain Cancer. Respectfully , Jorge Eloy Barajas
First neurosurgeon said 3 months. Second said a year. It's all a guess!
If I reconnect here, will I be able to see complete video? I don't want to go on FB because my medical stuff is private and don't want FB "friends" to know what I'm doing. Thanks!!
Yes, @ees1. Simply return to this page at 1:15 p.m. Eastern time to watch the video live here on Connect. It will also be archived on this page to watch again later.
Hi @that_girl,
It is difficult to "Watch and Wait". But this doesn't mean you and your health care team are doing nothing. You and your team are actively monitoring your health.
Here is a list of general symptoms to keep an eye on http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/brain-tumor/symptoms-causes/dxc-20117134 However symptoms will vary depending on the exact location of your tumor. Also, as you mentioned, you have other health issues to consider. Your doctor can tell you more about symptoms to watch for specific to your situation. Have you had a follow up appointment to discuss this specifically?
Where do I find the webinar?
Great .. I thought it was at 1pm and couldn't find it 😉
Thanks!
@skateroo Can you see the video on this page now?
Yes, I most certainly can .. it’s most interesting.
At this time my sister in law is terminally ill with a brain tumour.
Thanks .. Winn
