Our 17 year old son is a brain tumor survivor. He was recently diagnosed with secondary MDS with monosomy 7. He had a bone Marrow transplant in April from his sister (10/10 match) We found out last month his transplant failed and his MDS has returned. One option presented is to infuse more of his sisters cells, hoping some GVHD will provoke a “fight” and rid his body of the disease. What are your thoughts with thus treatment?
