Started on 40 mg of prednisone. ... Tapered down to 8 over 5 months then ... My dr said try taper at 1/2 mg every ... all struggle trying to get over the pmr ... and off prednisone.

I think it enabled me to taper off of ... the prednisone in less time than my ... first occurrence of PMR. ... first time took 3 and half years to taper ... second time took a year and half to taper
