Sorry to read about your experience. I'm just 52 and was diagnosed about 7 months ago....
rheumatologist initially prescribed 20 mg of prednisone ... for a week, then recommended that I tapered ... I personally hate being on prednisone ... I asked if the prednisone or PMR could ... hamstrings) and initially shrugged it off

My PCP diagnosed my PMR 3 years ago telling me I would only be on it...
She started me on 20 mg prednisone then ... well but I have never been able to taper ... Kevzara now hoping it will help me taper ... The benefit of getting off prednisone

That sounds like a productive relationship with the Rheumy. So you started on 15mg and tapered...
So you started on 15mg and tapered down ... dreadful 10 will probably take the edge off ... I’m in love with prednisone. ... inflammation between the eyes and get off ... the Prednisone as quickly as possible
