It can be tricky tapering down on prednisone ... my prednisone dose. ... average length of time for getting off ... of prednisone with PMR is 2 to 5 years ... off.

@dadcue: My experience was very similar. I was previously active and doing a marathon gardening session...
My rheumatogist says that prednisone ... I believe my tapering schedule will ... normal” and going up as I have been tapering ... I am not optimistic about getting off ... prednisone anytime soon.
