first time it took 3-1/2 years to taper ... off of prednisone. ... lifestyle changes and was able to taper ... off of the prednisone in 1-1/2 years ... really have to listen to your body and taper

are having depression side effect of prednisone ... mentioned that you are down to 5mg prednisone ... second time around and it helped me taper ... off of prednisone in about 1-1/2 year ... been for the entire 2 years while on prednisone

Both times I was started at 20mg prednisone ... It took me 3-1/2 years to taper off ... and 1/2mg until I could stop taking prednisone ... gave me scripts for 2.5mg and 1mg prednisone ... daily pain log with the amount of prednisone
