I am 76, diagnosed 2 months before I turned 70. I am currently taking 2.5mg prednisone....
I have pain daily in the uppermost back ... I do not think it's pmr. ... have an Achilles problem which is painful ... , cppd and oa in my hands and left

From what I know it’s best to lower your inflammation rather than power through w pain....
inflammation rather than power through w pain ... I had PMR - got Lyme not long after ... then had a flare of swelling in my hands ... w pain that I was told was PMR morphing ... I would say to try to find pain relief

I woke up 4 days later with much pain ... is that suddenly my body ( mostly hands ... ibuprofen and have had scans of my hands ... I certainly am curious if the painful ... hands is related to the PMR .
