Serving Size: ½ cup
Ingredients
1/2 cup uncooked pearl barley
1/2 cup uncooked red wheat berries
1/2 cup uncooked brown rice
1/4 cup uncooked steel cut oats
3 tablespoons uncooked quinoa
2 tablespoons of flax seed
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 quarts water
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine the barley, wheat berries, rice, oats, quinoa, flax seed and salt. Pour water over ingredients, stir and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
