Here at the Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, we are working on new ways to delay and even prevent heart transplants for people with congenital heart defects. In order to do that, we are studying cell-based treatments, human genetics and advanced imaging techniques along with creating the world's largest biorepository for HLHS patients and families.
