An Evening with Ethan Bortnick: Saturday, April 30th

As you know, Rochester, MN had the honor of hosting Ethan Bortnick live in concert on Sunday, April 10th. It was a wonderful afternoon of experiencing the power of music and spreading awareness for HLHS; it was a concert like no other! As the saying goes 'All good things must come to an end'. But what if you don't want them to end? Well, turns out that sometimes they don't have to.

Dr. Paul Grossfeld from UC San Diego and Dr. Tim Nelson from the Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for HLHS at Mayo Clinic are joining forces to study genetic causes and mechanisms of HLHS, develop new therapies, and ultimately prevent this devastating disease. We couldn't be happier about this new collaboration! As a result of this partnership, The Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for HLHS is proud to partner with Little Hearts, Big Hopes to bring together an evening with Ethan Bortnick at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 30th. A portion of the proceeds from this concert will go directly to support the HLHS Research Consortium.

The Todd and Karen Wanek Family Program for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) is a collaborative network of specialists bonded by the vision of delaying or preventing heart failure for individuals affected by congenital heart defects including HLHS. The specialized team is addressing the various aspects of these defects by using research and clinical strategies ranging from basic science to diagnostic imaging to regenerative therapies.
