Left Ventricular Assist Device Delivers Restored Health and Vitality

Ron Schneider had multiple surgeries to correct an Atrial Septal Defect in his heart. However, after those surgeries in the late 1990s, Ron's heart continued to fail.

In 2006, Schneider was told that he had no future treatment options until he came to Mayo Clinic.
