Resource Reminder: Meditation practice

A few weeks ago, one of my Arizona HABIT team members (@AndreaCuc) posted a mindfulness activity. Around the same time, I attended a guided meditation lunch break for Mayo Clinic Arizona employees offered by another teammate (@Paulinehlucas). I am again struck by the similarities and yet differences in mindfulness and meditation. I'm still figuring it all out myself, but I like this explanation. We also covered both in the Resiliency Roadmap series from summer of 2020 (part 5 specifically covered mindfulness and meditation).

So, since you just got to explore a mindfulness activity so well outlined by @AndreaCuc, I wanted to give you all the opportunity to explore guided meditation with @Paulinehlucas. Here is a gratitude meditation with her, which is my favorite!

Knowing that I have completed my 'to-do's'. It gives me a sense of accomplishment especially if they were bigger tasks.

Oh yes, I know that feeling. Sometimes when a bigger task overwhelms me, I break it done into smaller steps. That way I get the satisfaction of crossing things off my list and I've also found that it helps me get started with a daunting task. As they say, eat the elephant one bit at a time.
